Screen Reader Mode

            Chronoverse supports screen reader mode for visually impaired players. When enabled, the game strips color codes, removes decorative formatting, and replaces visual elements (like the ASCII map) with structured text descriptions.

            Toggling

            Type screenreader (or screen) to toggle the mode on or off. Your preference is saved automatically.

            What Changes

            - Color codes are stripped from all output
            - The map command outputs text directions and landmarks instead of a visual grid
            - Decorative borders and table formatting are simplified

            First Login

            New players are asked whether to enable screen reader mode during account creation, before any other output is sent. You can change your preference at any time with the screenreader command.
